I Dunno if you can even consider it a transplant. I took one fo my independently growing plants along with the dirt ( A foot+ in every direction) and sat it into a clay flowering pot. The one it will stay in until its ready to be harvested. Its a beautiful plant 3 healthy adult sets of leaves. I just wanted to get it indoors and away from insects that attacked the lowest of the leaves, that and i felt it needed more direct light. After taking the plant out of the ground i noticed that (due to 'compost' ontop of the sprout i suppouse) the stem kinda J's. Im sure any grower here can picture what im talking about. My question is, do i need to splint the stem to grow straight or should i not even stress it. My worries is the J'ing of the stem will weaken the chances of it holding a good harvest.
It never hurts to stake a plant up. If I understand correctly it is leaning over(?). They will straighten up and head towards the light. Good thing you know its a girl it would suck to go through the effort for a male. Personally, I would never recommend bringing an outdoor plant in or even using nonsterilized soil inside for any plant. This is how pests and other problems can occur. Good Luck and throw some lights up! -B
