5 months have gone by, and its at a stage where I hate them. I feel I started my dreads with way to little hair. the loose hairs don't seem to be dreading as well. right top left back
yo bro those look really good. It looks like they are pretty much past the shrinky stage already and you will soon start noticing a considerable increase in length. Stick with it and they will only get better!
they look alot like mine did at that stage.. ignore em awhile and b4 u know it they'll double in length
they look great! thats a slow age. mine started to really take off at about 7 or 8 months. just hang in there, they look really good as they are and they will only get better
what i find is that your dreads just keep getting better. at five months, you notice how much better they are than when they were three. and it just keeps improving slowly.
i know how you feel. i'm at almost 4 months and i think they look shitty alot. it changes day to do though, for some reason. every now and then i'm happy with them and think they look decent, but on days like today i am really frustrated with the slow progress. in my opinion, yours look great though!
In the younger months, dreads won't look how you want them to look, ignore what other peoples dreads look like & focus on your own. In time yours will look just as good. Dreads are a journey & need time and patience. Just as a Bonsai grows you shape them to how you want them and with age they will look better
