Anyone know of a way to cool Salvia smoke but still have it be as effective?

Does Salvia burn hotter than cannabis? I swear the first 3-4 times I tried it I did not trip because it burned the hell out of my lungs. Do you really have to keep the lighter on it, or just let it smolder? The 1 time I did trip, I just let it smolder and took 2 huge hits.. wasn't as hot. But I fell on the ground and laughed my ass off for about 10 minutes while seeing multiple images of reality layered on top of each other, so I think it worked

Ok, 1) Yes Salvia needs to burn hotter than cannabis, WAY hotter. 2)Keeping the lighter on it througout the entire inhalation process will definatly help you achieve the effects you want, and as for cooling the smoke, well you cool salvia smoke the same way you would cool any smoke, Bong, water pipe, Hookah, ect. also those will help you take bigger better hits cus the smoke is cool. anyways, hope it helped. my advice is to take short bursts of hits until u cant fill ur lungs anymore... then hold on tight!

I haven't tried myself but I have heard you can smash up ice and put that inside your bong instead of water... it should be better than water, right? It's cooler... :/

That's funny about your layered reality trip, because I had the exact same thing happen to me. The layers consisted of bright yellow and orange. Different ones kept pulling me down. Strange.

I can't remember if mine were different colors, but I think they were the same color. Now that I think of it, I seem to remember the top one being green and the bottom one being dark grey/black. But yeah it was sorta like an old tv that is skipping on the picture, only there was like 5 lines and inbetween each i saw the same thing. Very weird effect, but I want to achieve it again, I remember laughing my ass off at it

Last night I smoked a whole bowl 2 hits at a time, got some real nice head rushes but no especially nice visuals :/. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, maybe I need stronger than 5x.

And I definitely need to invest in a bong to cool this stuff..

 

Invest now I really must b off my head. Mop bucket filled with cold water plastic bottle pref wide t max contact with water then small metal bowl fitted in the cap.

 

lol, the good old fashioned bucket bong... or you can make a gravity bong, theyr easier to set up

Cut hole in bottle lid to hold the bowl,
cut a medium size hole in the bottom of the bottle.

Cover bottom hole, fill with water, let go of hole, torch bowl, wait till smoke fills the bottle. Inhale, hold, and hold on.


In reality though, a GOOD glass or acrylic bong is a wonderful purchase that will last you a long time and provide wonderful hits for all you "legal" smoking needs

 

Interesting, so I guess my main question is, Once the Salvinorin A is released by the heat of the flame, will it remain active even after the smoke cools? Or does the smoke have to be hot for it to contain the max amount of Salvinorin A?

Old school me. I once got busted n lost a collection of 18 or so pipes broke my heart it did sob. Yep soz salvia dont recombine once cooled only needs t burn hot. I use small stainless steel metal bowl off a cheap 2 piece hash pipe. Beware of other metals such as copper though as ya end up poisoning ya self lol.

 

Yea, salvia only needs to burn hot, after that it can be as cold as you want it... as for a bowl, Just go down to your local swap meet and there is usally a person there that will sell it to you. I use a small steel bowl that i picked up.
Or, if you cant or wont do that, take a socket from a socket wrench set and put a small screen in it so that nothing falls through and then make the hole big enough to fit it. Enjoy.

 

Love it where's there's a will there's a way. Just did some x20 in a mates hubbley bubbley (bad design almost burnt me eye browl off when I stopped tooting) pleasant hit but nowhere near as potent as a well drawn bucket bong. Must say though it takes sum lunging training but well worth it.
