What is your favorite city in the world? What is your favorite city in the states/whatever country you live in?
Stockholm. but I'm sure there are many nicer places. I stayed there for a few weeks a few years back and I fell in love instantly. Fav city in Canada is Toronto. Fuck Vancouver and Calgary. Montreal ain't that bad, but its too easy.
i love cities, except for the one i live in... my favorite i guess is cleveland, just because it's the only real city i know well...
I honestly don't like cities. I prefer the country. Cities are like artificial hives, as Plato called them. But I would have to say Toronto.
I like where I live, Adelaide. Like Ben Folds says in his song about it "The world could be coming to an end and you wouldn't know it". So yeah, its quiet and laid back, more so than other Aussie cities. It also has a great womad as well as fringe/arts festivals, its quite happening during festival season. It also has a great art gallery, zoo, botanic gardens, arthouse cinema and an internationally renowned gourmet food market, all within walking distance. It has lovely beaches. Its very multicultural too. I like being the only white person on the bus sometimes.
I like cities, but the only country I've been to is...... Wisconsin..........ugh I haven't been around enough to have a favorite, but so far the Canadian Falls.

well i grew up there, so it's home for one... i really don't feel like typing a long reply to this, so i'll just say that for someone like me, the country is better in most ways... hopefully someone else finishes that thought for me while i'm busy packing this bong...
Varanasi in India is my favorite city in the world. Maastricht is my favorite city in the Netherlands.
Barcelona is my favourite city abroad. In the UK, I definitely prefer the countryside but I also really like London. Wouldn't wanna live there but it's an awesome place to spend some time in.
