They closely related, though I've never had it, MDA is suppose to last longer and have more pychedelic characteristics.
MDMA is real mello, "I LOVE everyone...lalala," and MDA is has more amphetamine characteristics, and more psychedelic and will overpower the MDMA if taken together.
MDA doesnt overpower MDMA at all. They create a great synergy and the combo of the two is like a whole new analogue in its self. MDMA usually wears off first though, so it's cool to have that boost of duration. MDMA is much stronger when taken individually, and unlike MDA, it has a peak. Even though i think MDMA is stronger, i feel more fucked up on MDA...its hard to explain, the whole lovey dovey package makes MDMA stronger for me i guess. The high from MDMA is strongly dependant on serotonin levels, while MDA has other actions that intoxicate you as well as playing on serotonin. Personally, MDMA is alot more visual than MDA, although alot of people say otherwise. Ill outline the big differences between the two below... MDMA -Has a peak -Shorter in duration than MDA -More of relaxed, groovy/dopey type of roll -More intense feeling of love and empathy felt due to a bigger release in serotonin -More social, people open up and talk quite a bit -More of a sincere and meaningful type of experience due to the empathy -Relatively easy comedown at realistic doses. (and yes, mdma's comedown isnt that bad anyone who says they have excrutiating comedowns either has heavily abused them in the past or gets methy pills). A bit subjective i know, but i thats the general consensus around my group of friends. MDA -Lasts longer than MDMA -Feels noticiably 'dirtier' -The roll isnt as dopey or relaxing, feels almost harder and more edgy. -Although love and empathy is felt, no where near that of MDMA. -Gives you a huge increase in energy, with MDMA i usually roll all over the floor and hug everyone, on MDA im running all over the place dancing and jumping around like a madman. -Less social, normally people either run around or just lie there and let their eyes roll around in the backs of their skulls. -More visual (although not for me). -More of a fucked up, intoxicated sensation. -More toxic than MDMA, makes you feel alot more strung out for longer. I prefer MDMA But together they are awesome, they blend perfectly. For mixing other drugs, like LSD and Mushrooms i suggest MDMA. The induced empathy is the whole point of candyflipping and MDA leaves you feeling like fucking shit the next day regardless of how many pills you take, and that can carry over and ruin the trip.

Truly you are all some sort of posting gods, with how you all move the mouse so that you can be directed to each specific thread of your interest, and give replies that to most of us n00bs will fry our brains, and make us use Google searches defining such large words, and chemicals that you all speak of. But seriously I fucking love the spell check feature, and if it wasn't for the quick reply box at the bottom of the page....well I and I would assume many others just wouldn't respond/have as many post as we do.
