Strange tale, indeed. You did well with setting up the atmosphere for the story within the story (the tale you hear within your own). Metal birds, metal horses? Are those truly animals or more like weapons?
I added the preface today to clarify the piece. Recently I saw the movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy", which deals with Kalahari (Africa) bushmen interacting with twentieth century culture. The result is a very good comedy which does not fail to portray the natives in a positive manner.
cool... i liked it but it was a bit abrupt in the end... well i dont know how to explain but the ending was so not expected...
