I never really followed it when it was on the telly. But I was always chuffed when I caught one on there. Couple of days ago I watched the first series and I'm well impressed. May even have to wheel out the word 'genius' for it Do y'all have any favourite series'? Favourite charachters? How do you feel about the whole switching from models to computers thing, which I gather peeved fans in the past.

Series 5 is my favourite, I think... They're all pretty good, although I was a bit disappointed with series 8. Favourite character probably Kryten. The models looked way better than the computer-generated stuff.
Haha, red dwarf is great.. kryten is awesome, although Rimmer has his moments.. in fact they all do. Series 5 and 6 are the best, especially "DNA", that was classic. Oh and Back to reality too.
Heh, I loved it first time round when I was about 12, I don't think I've ever looked forward to a TV programme quite so much before or since, about 9.30pm on a Thursday on BBC2 I think it was Nowadays whenever I catch it it looks a bit dated...
I was only a baby when it first started! I do remember something about a film a couple of years back, whatever happened to that I wonder!
My friend gave me his old Red Dwarf t-shirt a while back, I was chuffed! Makes me chuckle all the more to think of all the jokes I must've missed as a kid. Read the books too, I think I left my copy of the omnibus in my locker at my old job, I'd be more upset if I hadn't bought it second hand from a charity shop in the first place.
I remember the old Red Dwarf episodes. I like the one where they find a stasis leak. Favourite character is Cat.
Used to really love it!!!!!!!! Had the smeg out and in vids and everything (saddo!) Thought Lister was a god ahahaha!! Caught a few old episodes a bit back on Dave I think it was, really enjoyed them
