I would consult a local accupressure or accupuncture source.

Tattoos don't mess up the nadis.

Nadis correspond to the meridian system, and are related to the nervous system. I know Nadis for the Manipura chakra, associated with vitality, energy and power, are located in the area you want your tattoo. Please bear in mind I know the Nadi and Chakra system is not a physical system you can put under a microscope. Chakras are more like etheric storehouses in the spine so in this regard your root center may store any immediate trama encountered during the tattoo application. The reason for my suggestion was to see if sometime trained to work on the meridian system had encountered individuals with a loss of energy or rashes for a couple days or some other short term symptoms as a result of having a tattoo there. I've never done it so... basically I can't answer your question.

It depends on why you want the tattoo. If the motivation is not good, the eventual results may not be good.

How is that possible? Some would say this is a form of self-mulilation, driven wholly by egotistic considerations. I would tend to agree with that.
