with religion and ways of thinking and reincarnation and gaia and shit like that... what happens in a few thousand years or million years when the earth/solar system/galaxy/universe are gone. when all we have known sece to exist. it is 100% inevitable that our rock will be gone some day. im not in a depressed mood or mad about it but mannnnnn, i really hope there is an afterlife but this sort or rebuttles it. atoms into molecules into organs into conciousness into souls into anything? i know youve heard it all but.... humans have the capability to migrate to other worlds and literally exist for eternity. will the survival of these humans ensure the survival of souls or whatever if they really exist. i want to meet aliens with the answers sooooo bad.
if there is an afterlife or higher consciousness or reincarnation or something else, if anything at all, I doubt it will depend on the survival of the human race.
humanity as a species will be long gone before the rocks and dust of this earth. some things just live longer then others, and rocks and dust 'live' rather a wee bit longer then living organisms of any kind. by that i mean whole species, not just individual members of them. now our awairnessess, true selves, souls, whateveryouwannacallem, if that's what you're tryina talk about, which it sounds like it is, well, time, space and spirit, or at least in my own perceptions and cosmology, are in seperate fraimes of reference, like seperate universes that intersect. each have cartesian dimentions internally while each of the other two appear as their vector sums within them. ok, i know that's a bit far out there from mainstream ways of looking at it, and its not like something i could prove nor disprove, but that is my perception. possibly from the experiences of some previous life. we have probably all met, and BEEN, 'aliens', with and without 'the' answers, in previous tangable material lives, just like those we live now, on other worlds. molecules and organs, using my cosmology, live in the frame of reference of space. conciousness and souls in that of spirit. they overlap. for the time of that organism's life, an awairness/soul is 'married' to an organism. that is my perception. you will find no infallable answers, but many things you can feel and experience, without having to pretend to know anything about them. or at least most of us can and will and do, or at least i feel that i have. =^^= .../\...

If you are wondering about reincarnation specifically, you have to understand that it is believed that Consciuosness itself descends upon gross matter and controls it (or, is controlled by it until liberation is attained). It does not matter if there is 'matter' because consciousness in pure form, or spirit, divine intelligence, is the conductors hand playing the macrocosmic symphony. Not only will the rocks and stars dissolve but the universe itself should begin to retract eventually. But into what? Namaste
