what could he do to you? remember your face and chase you down next time he sees you? maybe call the cops and put out an apb on some stoners wandering around a college campus? im sure theyd be right on that. you could have said fuck off i dont go to school here and left. college is not highschool. you come and go as you please.

 

Why don't you say: An hour before we smoked a cig wiith guys who were smoking dope. It would explain why your friend said he smoked, it would explain why you smelt like weed, and the reason for smelling like weed was from the people you were with outside of campus. (say you didn't know them, it was just random people smoking before the school zone?)
