I once had a 30 or maybe 32 oz steak and I actually managed to eat the whole thing. But then I'm a little piggy... :&

I completely agree. My first though upon reading this was "Why would anyone want to do that?". Even if a person could do it, most likely they would sick from it, so it makes me wonder if getting to eat a bunch of food until the point of being sick is really worth it?

    Silly human race.

well, it's all in the spirit of competition and chance of getting a free meal. and also, what are you supposed to determine your self-worth from if not how much steak you can eat? [IMG]

I wouldn't even want to try. The idea of it is gross. It's sickening, unhealthy and wasteful for one person to eat enough meat to feed 15. Yuk City. Not to mention that raising beef is terrible for the environment.

I know for a fact that I couldn't. The most I could handle is probably about a pound now, two years ago I could aim for at least 24 ounces and hit the mark. I have seen it done though, and the guys look like they just ingested a small car. But hey, Fitz, maybe we could go halves on one sometime. haha

I think i could, given a decent hunger. Ive eaten several nice size steaks in one sitting before, but they must be seasoned to perfection.

A local pizza place has a 8 lb pizza challenge. 18", thick as fuck. It is really great pizza, but I don't think I could do it. The challenge is that 2 people have to eat the pizza in 30 minutes and its free. I think two pairs of people have done it. I personally consider this place to be the best pizza in the area.

That's like 4 1/2 pounds of meat right? I guess I would try if it were free and I got to save what i couldn't eat at the time.

Strangely, I live half an hour away from that place, eat all the time at the steakhouse just up the road from there, but I've never even been to the Big Texan. It's way too hick for me.

Really I'm actually gonna try that out cause well my family has a bad history of high blood pressure and and I hear vegetarians usually have a lot more enegry than us meat eaters. Idk tho Im probably gonna hold off on it until the summer or do what i did last time i tried being a vegetarian. Quit each meat group one by one, pork - beef - fish - and chicken (the hardest). Work for 6 months.
