Greetings! I am also living in Kentucky. I made it to this state by way of dad, who served in the US Army. This is the only place that ever felt like home. I currently reside in Lou-Evil.
Movin to Cave City Ky in about 3 weeks anyone there friendly? LOL I need some friends there. http://www.myspace.com/kellindelena
I just moved to Nicholasville. but I've lived in Kentucky my whole life, originally from South Eastern Kentucky in a small town.
Kentucky born and raised. I live sort of in between Salvisa and Harrodsburg which is about 40 minutes away from Lexington. Anyone near me, feel free to chat-http://www.myspace.com/boxfaerie
My folks live in Mackville, which is not far from Harrodsburg. Have you ever been to Terrapin hills? The harvest festival is coming up (Sept 18-21), and it is an awesome festi. The farm is just outside of Harrodsburg on Mackville Road.
Hello, I'm in Kentucky! I love this state. I'm in the Bowling Green area. If anyone is close to me, post a reply and mybe we can chat.
born and raised in georgetown ky. i was born here and this is probably where they will put me in the ground. at least if i have anything to say about it.
You should check out Terrapin Hill Farm, its on Mackville Road just a few min. outside of Harrodsburg. Friendly organic farm, and they have a couple festivals throughout the year. Their Harvest Fest in late September is a helluva good time.
I'm in eastern Kentucky, by way of Texas and California.... There's more of us hippies here than some would think
There's a lot of good folk in this state. They just keep to the themselves, so people think of rednecks when the think of KY....because they like to be heard.
Yeah, terrapins having more family friendly(and more acoustic, festies these days) but its all good... it got a lil rediculous before the flood... and I agree, our state needs hemp, I need hemp(aka, I need a JOB) ha!.. well we'll see what happens, but i see good things in other states, so maybe KY will come around and save some farms lets hope
I dunno dude, this past year was more electric than any other that I remember. More lasers, more light show. The crowd thinned out after the flood, but it was needed. Too many college kids were starting to come strictly for a "field party," when it's much more than that.
Yeah, I think you're right, i remember seein pete and brenda up in lex, tryin to get more acts.... maybe ill see ya there sometime, its a been a while for me, last time i went out we were helpin to build the *new picnic structure(haha *that was probably 3-4 years ago)... I guess I'll see how it worked out if I make it back out there
