Jamaica is my destination for the Winter.

I thought I was going to Costa Rica, but I am not.

I am a teenager and I was wondering, when I go to Jamaica, how should I buy weed and where.

Do they only accept adult ganja users or they cool with me smoking?

Should I ask the hotel manager or should I ask a cab driver for fresh good quality herb?

I heard about a plantation or something bout herb.

Sorry for all the questions and I have gone to WeBeHigh.com, but my question is as a teenager(15) is it okay for me to talk bout herb or how to buy some in Jmaiaca?

hate to break it to you, but jamaica has 3 growing seasons per year, and winter is the shittiest of all three.

you want the best buds, try summer

well then lucky you...the carib is the shit.

if you get a chance i would reccomend tobago. apparently its the new hotspot

 

if your a tourist then don't even worry about it, it will find you, you will get offered herb right after you step off the airport. If you are worried that you may not get offered because of your age, just sport a bob marley shirt or some rasta colors and that will do the trick. Also dont take the first herb that is offered to you, wait for a couple people to offer it to you and make sure you negotiate, because you will be quoted a higher price than it is actually worth.

 

Be very careful traveling around Jamaica with weed on you they sell it everywhere but it isnt legal and they pop up roadblocks and will arrest you for possesion.With that in mind enjoy your trip and there lambs bread Jamacias finest ganja

 

sounds sweet, Im going with my mom, but shell be with my aunt their girlfriends and stuff so Ill be with my cousin must of the time and he smokes too

I heard you can get a pound of the freshest ganja in Jamaica for 150-200 bucks

Also, how can you tell if the herb is good because I usually smoke hashish, or buy already rolled up joints so Im looking for something dark green, right?

 

no no you want bright light green with tons of crystals thats the best.

 

Someone told me theyll arrest em if I have ganja, can I keep it in my hotel room, or should I just bribe the cops

 

Jamaica only has one flowering per year i think mate.

 

Its my understanding that you can bribe the police with US currecy but Ive never had to . Hopefuly you wont have to either. What you can do is ask a hotel employee were a good spot to toke is and dont travle to much with it

 

Ok,

Jamaica is probably the closest you'll come to visiting a free country in your life.... just keep an open mind, try to learn from the Rasta (just say hi to one, and they'll talk your ear off)... Its not like Mexico, there is tons of weed, but they don't hassle you non stop to by... just use the term "I'm alright" - that seems to be the right thing to say when you don't need anything...

Anyhow, on to weed.. its everywhere... you'll find it on your resort easy.

couple rules to go by

1. Never buy it at the airport
2. Your all right at the resort (protected), you should even be fine smoking around security... but the resorts will ask you to keep it very low. (i.e. don't smoke at the buffet). there is a saying on the island... "in Jamaica, smoking Ganja anywhere is always "alright"". I acctaully smoke a fattie right inside Bob Marlies home (where his mother lives sometimes). Supposidly, when she is there, she brings the finest hurb with her.
3. Speaking of Marley, If you want to try an awesome tour, do one called
the sprite of reggae, or the bob marley tour, or the nine mile tour, or the ganja tour (its the same thing)... The tour takes you to the village of nine mile. Ganja is not legal anywhere in Jamaica (except there). In nine mile, even security will sell it to you there... You'll find anything you need, buds, hash, oil, everything.. when we did this trip, they even took us to a ganja farm on the way there....

Anyhow, weed aside, you will find Jamaica quite the spot... You may get it, or you may not.. but there is more going on there than weed... These people have found something the rest of the world is missing... its as close to being free as you'll get in this lifetime... Just meet the people, talk to them, and stay the hell away from most of the tourists... many don't get it.... and I get quite angry with a lot of the fat tourists that just bitch and complain about everything...

Go chill with the rasta on the beach, and if your like me, you'll shed a lot of tears when its time to go home... as by then you may find, Jamaica is your real home.

I've spent a lot of time on the island, and Socrates hit it right on the head.

Not much to add... The locals are the friendliest outside of the tourist towns.... if you can, stay on the south coast or inland.

If you haven't decided where to stay, let me recommend you stay at one of Island Oupost's cottages.

Jake's Treasure Beach is AMAZING... try to stay there..

Some other things to look out for besides good weed:

Guinnepes- they are little grape- like fruit that are sold in a bunch... they are dirt cheap and taste divine.

little yellow Mangos- they are often bruised up pretty badly and are about half the size of the green mangos, but they taste extraordinary.. truly wonderful

roadside Jerk Chicken- nuff said

DG's Kola Champagne soda- Best soda on earth, no question!

Avoid the touristy areas and you will discover the real Jamaica.. a wonderful place.
