I don't know what you mean by hotboxing a sauna. But If you want to get rid off the smell ('cause weed smells really strong). Spray yourself with deoderant/perfume or have a good shower, make sure you wash your hair. Brush you teeth or eat mint, spray your clothes with deoderant. If you smoked inside spray lots deoderant or use some inceanse.

hotboxing a sauna should be fine as long as you get it going afterwoods the smell should not be a problem.

steam, incense, or deoderant will never get rid of the smell of smoke.

deoderant will make you smell like smoke and deoderant.
incense will make a room smell like pot and incense.
steam....well, that just wont do shit.

hotboxing a sauna would be fine, but dont expect the smell to go away much quicker.

spraying cologne or deoderant on everything will just make you smell like shit....really overwhelming nasty spray shit, plus weed smoke.

the ONLY things i've found to help kill the smell of pot smoke is ozium, an air "neutralizer" or whatever which is used in hospitals and auto shops and such, as well as an ozone generator.

ozium is inexpensive and highly effective.
an ozone generator would be expensive, even for a small "cheap" one.

also a baffle/spoof/groove tube will help so long as you use fresh drier sheets, but it is by no means foolproof. if you use one, you should still use ozium.

^ i just wanted to let you know (no offense or any thing) but i think that febreeze works just as well as ozium....or well enough at any rate. i also think it is more common.

i disagree based on my experience. fabreeze is only designed to eliminate odors from fabric and such, it wont knock the smell out of the air entirely. i've tried both, and fabreeze HELPS but doesnt completely eliminate the smell in the room.
unless they have some newer product i'm unfamiliar with that is designed to eliminate odors from the air, as well. but if it works well enough for your liking its all good. i certainly wouldn't trust it if it were a security issue, though.

Yeah, maybe you should just hide your clothes till you get them in a washing machine.

    http://www.febreze.com/en_US/febreze/aireffects.do

This is the type of febreze that works in the air Nesta. They had a special cinnamon one out around the holidays and it mixed with patchouli so well. I use a spoof everyday and usually construct a new one every 1.5 to 2 weeks, because the dryer sheets are bad, and because the toilet paper roll just can't being moved around all the time. Once the toilet paper rolls starts falling apaprt, then you should change that because smoke will escape through the cracks and will not properly disperse through the sheets.

Wrap your sploof with electrical tape after you make one.

I did, but I think rubber bands work better when you use multiple ones. When I am transporting the sploof in the pocket of my schoolpants on the way to the shower it gets crushed :). I shit big though, so we never lack the ever so necessary toilet paper roll.

best idea, or theres these drops to clear clogged sinuses, its like really strong pepper mint. it opens up your nasal passages and leaves you refreshed inside, i always have inhale some off a tissue after taking a bath/sauna. dropping say 5 drops on the hot rocks or coal will make the whole place peppermintier then wrigleys peppermint flavour

oh right on, never saw thosebefore. still, you can smoke a bowl in a room and about 5 seconds after three quick blasts of ozium in different directions in the room it will ONLY smell like you just cleaned the place. the stuff is pretty fucking effective. i like the clean citrus smell.

OH Yeah I agree that ozium works the best, but I know a lot of people that won't use it because they can't stand the smell. I couldn't care if it smells bad or not, as long as it doesn't smell like pot :).

Yes the smell of cleaning products and other chemically things bothers people I guess. Citrus is a nice scent to walk into so maybe it would make a cop happy, then it would make him think twice about writing that ticket ;)

    is it YOUR sauna?

if so i would not do it, i wouldnt even smoke inside a sauna, if it's an actuall decently crafted sauna the cedar planks lining the wall will hold on to that weed smoke for a LONGGGG time, i have a sauna in my house and I know what works and what doesnt lol

just for an example, my dad told me a story of when they were kids they had a great sauna up at their cabin [i'm from Finnish descent so if anyone knows anything about sauna's its the fins :p] anyways a stupid hyperactive kid who was at a summer camp type thing at the cabin was in the sauna and took a piss on the rocks when it was hot, needless to say they needed to replace every plank in the entire sauna to remove the smell.
