Persisting effects... HELP

ok guys im a little freaked out. yesterday morning at about 8;30 i took some acid i had stashed away for about a month. i didnt know anything about the potency of this kind because id never sen it before. i took about a hit and a half of it (although one of the hits looked kinda bigger than normal)and it was the most intense shit ive ever done. seriously ive been to universes that god himself hasnt even thought of yet. id say the main most intense effects came up over the first 6 hours but since then it has been the longest slowest coming down ive ever felt. im on hour 23 and im still geting noticible effects.

ive come down a far way from where i was and i feel like im stil coming down. its not just the visuals that persist tho im still kinda thinkning the way u think when ur coming down from a psychedelic. like after youve had an intense salvia trip and the little period of time after where u feel kinda weird and u cant really focus on anything. from what ive heard of hddp this doesnt seem like it because of the fact that i stilol feel like im tripping. im just coming down really slow. i havnt dont acid that many times. only on about 4 other ocasions the last being 2 months ago. i find that for me effects always seem to work for much longer then the normal 12 hours usually 16 or 18 or more. usually i fal asleep which i havnt done since i took the tabs either.

has anyone else had any experiances like this at all? any advice would be helpful

 

I could be wrong but if it's taking that long off of a few hits you may have got some DO(x) blotters. Was the taste bitter?

You also said the blotters were a little bigger than usual and that would make perfect sense if it was DO(x), as those require a few mg's as opposed to mcg's.

 

i dunno but ya i could taste them pretty strong from the start. only one of the hits looked bigger than normal it mainly looked just kinda misshapen. how long will this last and is there anything i can do to stop it? i have seroquel somewhere

 

It's about 12-36 hours, depending on the doseage and which DO(x) it is, if it is infact a DO(x) compound. It'll be gone eventually, that's the important part to focus on. It's partly amphetamine which is partly why you stay up on it.

if i take a 25mg seroquel will it still halt the trip like a normal one? i think im mostly through it anyways but i think its gotten out of hand a little and im kinda scared im gonna do something dangerous

 

I know nothing about seroquel so I can't give you advice on that. Most things can't completely subside a trip, that's why it's usually a commitment if you are going to take a drug that alters consciousness for an extended amount of time. Relax, is honestly the best advice I can give you. It will leave your system soon, and it can't make you do anything you wouldn't want to do. Just don't scare yourself.

'Regular' trips can have 24-48 hours of after-effects, give yourself a solid 3 days. LSD shouldn't really taste like much, or not "very" bitter anyway, which is why I believe you may have taken a DO(x) compound.

 

try to get some distraction. focusing on it and being afraid of it will feed and intensify the after-effects.
and don't take seroquel, it will take days if not weeks for it to work, and then still the question remains if it will take effect. if you really want to take something that will somewhat reduce the after-effects, you should try to find some benzodiazepines like oxazepam.

 

why wont seroquel work? doesnt it usually halt trips. or do u mean ill get thew nasty seroquel after effects?

 

i have never heard about seroquel stopping trips, and i also don't know if it will do so. what i do know is that for antipsychotics like seroquel to take effect, you have to take it atleast a few days if not weeks. so your trips afte-effects will probably be over before seroquel does its job. and yeah, seroquel have side-effects wich are not always pleasant.

 

i think you would be better off taking some benzos, if you can get your hands on it. or rather just wait for the after-effects to go by.

 

i agree that seroquel might not stop a trip... but if you take 100mgs it will turn you into a zombie and put you to sleep. Its antipsychotic effects might take a week or so to start working but it will knock you out.

from my experiences, when I start throwing other drugs into the mix... I run higher risk of doing something stupid. You are coming down.. let it happen and get some sleep. You will feel fine when you wake up.

hey guys so its almost been exactly 36 hours since i began and im still feeling the tail end of the trip but things are more or less back to normal. i ended up taking the seroquel and since i havnt been using it regularly the antipsychotic effect of it didnt halt the trip but it did make it much easier to sleep which became a huge help.
