Maiden of Plastic hear my plea
    You don't exist / Please let's flee
You were cobbled together out of spare parts
You hide yourself away in art
    Talent is the only glue
    That keeps all of you
Together / Yet still you're blue
Oh Maiden I'm just like you
We must retreat to higher art
Through Victorian mist a course we'll chart
Through darkened alleys we will creep
In musty bedrooms we'll find our sleep
And when our lodging days are past
When we've left the East End's grasp
We will live as gentle souls
    That's the only proper goal
