im not expecting much because if someone else posted this i probably wouldnt take the time to help them.. but ive been stuck on it for a while and just surfing the forums so here it goes... ok one problem to go on our take home quiz... calc 3 Sketch the domain of ... (Sqrt((x^2)+(y^2)-1)) + ln(4-(x^2)-(y^2)) if anyones been through calc 3 and knows how to start it, then let me know.. so do i add the two eqns and then find the domain of them combined?.. or do i like find the domain of each and sketch where they would overlap?
And this is why I hate math. I was under the impression that math was only numbers. Then I got to highschool
cant really help you but I ll give the curious something to look at... http://math.bu.edu/people/paul/225/aapmt_talk.html
lol I used to know how to do that, but not anymore as I quit the Sciences program to become an anthropologist maths and sciences are just way too abstract, they're like games, except very complicated and boring games
lol a stoner's forum isn't the greatest place to go when you need help with math ..unless it's something like: friday night josh and his friends copped an ounce of haze. if josh smoked an eighth, his friend Bill smoked 2 grams, and his friend Paul only smoked 1 gram, how much weed does he have left? i would help you by the way, i just never learned calculus, i'm really bad in math.
I would try asking your math problem over at yahoo answers. I'm sure you'll get quite a few answers there, and most of them will probably be right. Just go to the appropriate category, and ask the question. If you already have a yahoo e-mail address or a screen name for yahoo messenger than you're already all set up there too. http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/;_ylt=AjtC6cP7Ukq30uWgrX3HnI2.xQt.;_ylv=3?link=list&sid=396545134
hey thanks for the responses, i ending up just copying it from someone before class started.. haha yea i knew this probably wasnt the right place for it but this is the only forum site i goto. if anyone was curious.. it ended up on the x-y axis a circle of radius 2 with a cut out of a circle with radius 1. so i guess i was making it harder than it was..
i dropped calc in HS... i was great at math.. but i thought to myself "when the FUCK am i ever gonna need to know calc"
