Since today is mabon, I'm cutting my herbs and leaving them dry for the winter, I have so many... So in the bread machine, I'm making a loaf of bread with some of these herbs... it's cooking now and it smells sooooo good....

    YUM! :D

We are also getting ready, been at it a few days, it's going to be a great holiday! Our Mabon feast is going to cover the whole table, there's no way we are going to be able to eat it all. I think we'll donate some to the Christian center down the block tomorrow. :sunglasse

We've done it before, getting a bunch of pagans together to donate to the local church food drive. They look at us weird, but they've never refused to take the food. We try to promote harmony between different religions, wherever possible. It never works when we're dealing fundamentalists - they always think anything we do, no matter how nice is some satanic trick, but everyone else seems cool.

When we all have the same goal (helping others, in this case), everything else seems to be less important.

Sometimes they tell us that they will hold us in their prayers... it's funny... to think of them holding prayer meetings for our souls :p It's cute, though. We just smile and nod and say "thank you." They mean well.

A sabbat*, seventh of eight in the cycle. It's to celebrate the autumn equinox.

    That help? :)

    *Festival, holy day
