BBc to become more right wing and white oriented

Apparently the BBC has at last joined the new age and realised that it should actually benifit the majority and stop pandering to the whimpering sorrows of a loud but insignificantly small minority.

What bullshit. Its got smeg all to do with being white, black or yellow...the country generally is in a bit of a state and people are overworked, under appreciated and ignorant, and thats about the sum of it

yes its real - when was the last time you heard someone on the bbc criticise the governments immigration policy ? That also had a working class accent ? and did it in a way that left you in no doubt as to the venom that has invested itself within this society at the utter pathetic policies that successive ultra liberal think tanks have forced upon the people. I also believe that its the beginning of a very tough immigration, CUSTOMS, and excise policy

Customs is about " You come to my country, you behave like us"
Immigration control is "You come to my country you add to it or fuck off"
excise is "You come to my country you pay me some tax"

 

Ive just seen the advert for that series called "White" to come on BBC1..Im still in shock!

A "white" mans face having Chinese and other lettering drawn all over it until it becomes black, and then the voiceover "Is white working class Britain becoming invisible?"....Im stunned this was put out on tele

This is such blatant racism, nothing else no matter how you try and argue it. Why the hell are they dividing the popultion with the words "white" and "black"? Does it matter if there are now more people with darker skin in Britain!? The answer, to anyone who is not a racist, is clearly NO. So why is the colour even mentioned?

And before anyone sas anything, i would be saying these exact same words if it was the other way around and the advert showed a darker face being covered in white and asking the question in reverse. Implying that the colour of skin is of real importance and we should be concerned about "white" Britain "becoming invisible" is RACISM

You cannot fail to have thought that the propoganda ministry (The BBC) would also follow once the laws had been laid in place to enable the crackdown to begin did you - what do you think the anti terror laws are? they are the infrastructure of the crackdown, the means by which the political discourse will take place and believe me it dont leave room for much debate - sorry mate integration failed and so did ethnic diversity, the only option is to say "The experiment is over"

But let us not forget that part of the remit of the BBC is simple, it has to appeal to the majority viewpoint, and has to represent the majority viewpoint. You will find the majority became disillusioned a long time ago with British immigration policy and with illegals and successful asylum seekers running round murdering people on a scale not seen before. Now that disillusioned view can be expressed! It would be odd if the BBC were out of step with the Anti immigration view, and anti muslim view since their view is the majority view.

I saw that advert for the new BBC "White" season, with the typically british bull dog male getting his face written on. It did come across as somewhat racist, but I haven't seen any of the TV shows so I can't really decide whether it is or not.

I hear a lot of "white" people complaing about the state of the country, and enthic minorities seem to take a lot of the blame for it.

No doubt about it, the face of britain is changing. But that is how it has ALWAYS been, the UK has a long standing history of immigration.

 

Surely now youre just trying to drum up attention and you know full well our point is they shouldnt be mentioning colours at all

Its got fuck-all to do with politics for me, its got to do with the fact that im as much a human being, completely and in every way, as is my best friend who has slightly paler skin and my other friend who has darker skin than me! The colour of the skin means nothing and makes no difference to anything! Therefore why mention it in the first place? By mentioning it as a problem and trying to turn it into something it is not you are being a racist. Most of the so-caled "white" people i know have pink/yellowy/orangey skin! My skin is white but i have always been pale. I also know many people who have darker skin tones or asian skin tones...but why the hell should this even be mentioned and what the smeg does it have to do with the problems in Britain today?

Cultures, fine, talk away about cultures and their differences all you want...but why the colours of peoples skins!? Its crazy

It's you that is inferring racism everything I have said is about muslims, who are not a race but a group of misguided people from many parts of the world who seem to arrive in Britain begging for mercy then demand we adjust our culture to suit them, while ripping off state benifits (Abu Hamzer and most other MUSLIM terrorists that have been caught). Also I have said about people coming from outside the EU and killing people, running drugs gangs etc etc - now if you condone all that, fine, but I dont and all I have said is I am glad that at last people feel able to condemn it. Fine if thats the country you want - then you just get on with it but I can express these opinions without being racist and have done so - I have also never mentioned anyones colour as being an object for political disgust either - so unless you just object to my anti muslim stance then what the fuck are you on about ? My opinion on this subject is that the order to represent the opinion of the majority must matter to the BBC as much as its remit to educate and entertain and the programme under discussion will do all 3

 

Hi, I was trawling through the internet and saw this topic, and immediately it made me want to start an account for this forum. Firstly, to say this is racist is horribly wrong, it is not being offensive, it is not attacking the other various ethnic groups and their cultures. However, it is questioning our culture, how far has it changed? Where will it be going to? To go off on a wobbly without seriously considering the advert has made you look very silly indeed. Just to reinforce, this advert has nothing to do of the colour of their skin, at what point does it do this? I myself, studying media studies think that it is a clever advert with a different approach and an interesting USP. And before you predictably call me a nazi, racist whatever etc, I have friends from many ethnic backgrounds. And it is more than likely I will never come back to this post or indeed this forum.

agreed! i think if some of the trolling isn't put in check we are going to end losing a lot of serious posters. so, hopefully Lithium and Peace_Phoenix will maybe give this a thought.

i love the fact that there are more posts to read; but at the same time, when most of them are rubbish posts set to demean certain groups of people. maybe this is seen as something that will promote debate; but i know for me it just makes me want to not read posts.

and yes, i'm all for free speech too, and i have always defended the easy moderation that goes on in the UK forum; but well ... there comes a point.
