Who's more evil?WalMart or McD's?

I got a few issues about MAc Donalds, for me both are hell, but mac Donalds is pure evil. They are stealing you one of the best pleasures in life, EAT, yeah thats right, I've worked in the usa, and there's were I realized that mac Donalds is destroying what i thought it was sacred, eat.

The worst thing is that they are making you like the food since you're a kid, for example, in my country, the people of my age, only goes to mac donalds because their children want the toy, that's all, for the little kids it's like going to the circus, The magical world OF Ronald Mac Donalds, that sucks.

Nobody likes the food, people in italy likes to eat real food, with a fork, not a lame hamburguer everyday because you dont have the time to go home, the're other choices, but if you're a kid and you are used to it, you would not mind to eat there, that's the plan, I am totally agains it.

Their main goal is to get used to eat crappy food, eat as fast as you can and them go to work and produce, they are stealing one of the biggest pleasures on mankind. All because of the sick mentality of USA, you got to be productive, you got to produce.

Its easy to see it, if you live in a country were MAc Donalds is kind of new, you will see it, in Venezuela for example, the mac donalds culture is very strong among the teenagers, and of course the little kids, My friend has a kid, a 4 years old kid, everytime they want to eat outside, the kid will beg for mac donalds, and let me tell you, he's got a lot of toys, and I mean it, but there's nothing like going to eat outside and get a toy for eating half a hamburguer and a couple of fries, remember when you were a kid, and you did'nt wanted to eat, well, you're getting a toy for that, and a park, to play with other kids, its hell...

For example have you ever eat in a MAc Donalds all alone????... you fell like crap, you want to get the hell out of there as soon as you can, it's very common to see people getting out of those places with their cups with half of their drinks, why, why, why they are steling you one of the biggest pleasures, its not fair, they are making you used to it. Its a shame, I hate both.

 

They are almost the same, however Walmart has put these "little marts" inside these little towns out of business. It's like go to walmart or nothing. McDonalds is not the only place to eat thank god. I dont like McDonalds...I hit the Authentic Mexican restaurants or Chinese. ( Lets not go into how they mess up things..just be happy i hate mcdonalds ok? ^_^ ) So yeah. That's my input on this.

 

you folks are badmouthing both of these companies but they offer a better service, price, and convenience than than the most small town stores and they employ huge numbers young people who dont have the skills yet to do anything else. I go to walmart because i can run in and grab what I need, self checkout and be out of there in 5 min. go to a local ma and pa store first you cant find the item cause they moved it yesterday you find it and its 20% more than at walmart then you have to go find the person running the register who is out having a smoke break and cant count change anyway. its just an annoying time waste to go to a small store. there is exceptions and those stores do better because of the box stores.

 

I find walmarts pricing is going up, rather then them keeping prices low. I no longer find them the cheapest store around. I go to Zellers or a small shop downtown.
Haven't been to walmart in over a year now.

As for mcd's...Haven't been to one in over 10 years, and have no plans on going anytime soon.
Then again it's been well over 2 years since I last ate out anyways...Sorry but i just don't trust any fast food restaurants. I enjoy taking the time to make my own food.

Well, the thing is, many people here hate America, so they hate any story of American success. WalMart is one of the greatest success stories of America, so it must be righteously hated, per the handbook of the left.

Forget about the fact that it creates thousands of jobs and offers low prices and a large selection of necessary products to the masses.

Many of these anti-capitalist lefters will even tell you how great communism is - It's strange how similar a WalMart resembles a communistic market place. Irony, if you ask me...

Anyways, they hate WalMart blindly. Don't ask why. They don't even really know why. They just know they're supposed to. It's not entirely their faults. It mostly goes down to ignorance of economics.

 

Walmart offers lower prices by taking advantage of slave labor in 3rd world emerging nations. The jobs they create in the States/US are only parttime and never offer full benefits. They have lobbied to control wage and labor laws, and have union busted. They are probably one of the most litigated against employers in the states.

The main reason Walmart has emerged as winner is that the Clinton's made it so. Do you think they buy their goods there? Do you think the executives of Walmart buy their goods from Walmart? It was an Arkansas firm that rose to world fame with them.

there was a macdonalds but it went out of business

miles city mt and dickinson nd both have walmarts and there is literally no reason to build one in between

[i cannot visit either place as i have no car and no license and public transport is nil]

the town i live in cannot even support a used book store or more than one tiny thrift shop and it is considered to be a big town

it is slowly dying--most of this area is losing population, and the population that does stay is aging as those who had left back home to die

Walmart and McJunkies are a disgrace.So are the pharmaceutical companies which peddle their junk on tv.ALL big business in the US must be strictly regulated.Unfortunately the US government is run by lobbyists whose ONLY interest are the multimillionaires.This must change.Bring strict,old fashioned regulations back!The USA is fast on its way to becoming a corporate dictatorship.

 

The americans voting with their wallets to send this work to asia. You cannot blame the drugdealer for your drug habit. Wallmart is just giving americans what the want, cheap as possible asian products made with child labor or political prisoners etc..

 

They are both pretty evil. Neverthless, the owners of small stores are frequently right wing nut cases. When these right wing nut cases lose their livelihoods I do not mourn.

 

I think Walmart is much more worse than mickey ds cause mcd. could easily lose money when bigger people lose weight and when idiot parents realize that they have junk food for kids. Small businesses are like walmart's bitch. they sell their stuff to walmart, walmart sales for lower price, then buys them out. its ridiculous. i stopped going to walmart for a long time cause you get cheap if you pay cheap....their clothes are cheap made, easily worn out, their food gets rotten quicker so its not all that grand, you go to your local store and you pay probably 3 dollars more and get descent refreshing food and great clothes, theyre different material. try that, i always support the local stores around here. fuck walmart, its a cheap ass store for cheap old stuff. i also stopped because of this.....

Oh hell yeah! Pharmacies are a joke to me now, me and my mom went to the one with walmart and my mom paid almost 70 dollars for xainxan? i think thats how you spell it, its an antibiotic! ridiculous

 

McDonalds is way worse.. You can’t even get anything editable there, the place smells like a Porta John.

At least you can get some underwear and socks at Wal-Mart and some food that won’t make you sick.

 

I totally believe that Mcdonalds is the evil one... They have a scary Ronald MCdonald and who the heck has a Cool figure for the kids as the Burgler of the hamberger.....

I have nothing against Walmart exept the fact that they have so many check out machines but when you are ready to purchase there are like 5 lanes open and then you have to stand for like an hour to purshace things..
