Maybe this could be of some interest to you.

It’s called ‘Passages’ A guide for pilgrims of the mind
by Marianne S. Anderson and Louis M. Savary.
    Copyright 1972

This is what the back of the book says:

‘Passages – A guide for pilgrims of the mind

PASSAGES, a probing and photographic stroll through the mind’s eye, suggests that ordinary consciousness is a limited experience – a two-dimensional flatland – while the altered state of consciousness – a three-dimensional space – is, in fact, the consciousness intended for mankind.
The exercises in PASSAGES provide a natural means of mind expansion and teach you to explore at will the hidden spaces of the subconscious. PASSAGES is a developmental program to evolve skills ranging from how to stop smoking, to interpersonal relations, to becoming aware of the infinite. Here you can suggest to yourself positive ways to overcome fears, tensions, shyness, to instill greater self-confidence and esteem, and to find greater depth while developing your latent powers of creativity and awareness.
Each exercise is illuminated by a photograph designed to push open the door to an altered state of consciousness as well as be several selections of prose and poetry which encourage you to move freely into your new energy perspectives and reservoirs of possibility.’

I bought this a few years ago at a library book sale… I’ve personally found it very useful and interesting.

    Hope this helps!

  6. Highly recommended: A New Earth

A true awakening. I felt the change right away, and it's drastic.

I am still learning and growing from it :)
