I came across an interresting theory lately. When a person dies, when his/her whole body has shut down (clinical death) his/her brain keeps working for a while (I've heard that it could be about 6-12 minutes, but I haven't found any scientific proof yet). Most probably a person will be seeing dreams at that state. I believe alot of people have experienced, that when you have just woken up in the morning and fall asleep again you could see very long and colourful dreams, that seem to last for hours, but when you wake up only a few minutes have passed. Now 6-12 minutes could be a very very long time for dreams. In fact, it could be a whole lifetime! This is what heaven/nirvana really is. This theory could also explain the "moving towards a light in a tunnel" or "life flashing before ones eyes".
This is what Nirvana really is?It's about being fully awaken,no more illusions dreams blabla..quite the opposite: ) But hey..interesting nonetheless.. um,would you like that?being caught in a web of dreams?
Well this is why I think one should learn lucid dreaming. And afterall, how do you know you aren't dreaming right now? Dreams are real as long as they last.
In a way I know I am.The dream world and this world are similar,in my opinion. And yeah: )complete clarity/awareness is the goal..not only when it comes to dreams..but to what we call life as well.As much as people think they are awake..well they aren't: ) Also,i think the more aware you become of the nature of this reality, the bigger the possibility that you'll have lucid dreams..it's all intermingled
Alduous Huxley asked his wife to inject LSD IV when he was dying, and she did, right there on his death bed, right before he slipping into his consciousness and into the other realms. Yes, the brain remains active. Do everything you can do to exercise your awareness here on Earth so that when the time comes for you to go inside you go inside with wide eyes. It's too easy to give up on awareness when you are as tired as dead. So easy to just let go. I'm going to explore the end times as much as I can.
