Straight keif for body high

I'm extremely (it's most likely pointless to try to change my mind) to anything in pill form and I need a painkiller right now.

I have a good bit of keif but I'm trying to avoid head highs for a while. I know that vaporizers give mostly a body high because it's pure THC. I don't have a vaporizer so my best bet is the keif for now.

Will straight keif give me a head high or just a body high?

 

mostly body in my experience, its great. especially if its straight keef from the bottom of a grinder

yesser... and a good tip is save cronic stems and break em into small peice( do not grind them tho) and the place them in the middle compartment of the grinder and shake them for keif. Its a lower quality but I got 3 nice bowls worth of keif (or candy as we call it) on top of my bowls. YEAH!

Sort of Kief is the trichomes that fall off the bud leaving a sticky powdery residue. It has a very high THC content but isnt pure THC

 

kif is a term used in morocco and other areas in the region to refer to cannabis in general. kif is processed to acquire powder (trichomes/resin glands....the "crystals" on the pot) which is compressed to make hashish.

in the "west" the term kif (often also spelled kief or in similar ways) usually refers to the trichomes/resin glands specifically, but not the whole plant, and not if they've been compressed into hash. its a soft, sticky, fluffy powder

it generally contains the very highest concentration of THC in the plant, and is the most desirable part of the plant. but it is not pure THC by any means.

Wait is this the same stuff that falls of the weed if you put it into an electric grinder?

THC is a particular chemical compound, and not a physically seperate part of the plant. The vast bulk of the THC exists, of course, in the flowers of the female plant, the buds we smoke. A smaller part of the bud are the tiny resin glands. These are respsonsible for the sticky aspect of the buds, and to the naked eye they resemble crystals and are widely referred to as such, though they are not crystals at all.

These glands generally, if not ALWAYS, contain the highest concentration of THC of the entire plant, but at NOT pure THC. they are very often a good indicator of quality, though its not at all uncommon to find buds which are not particularly resinous but of very high strength, and its not unheard of to find pot which IS particularly resinous but not of astounding potency.

 

it´s pretty interesting when you think about what the trichomes actually do. they help to keep the buds from drying out while growing, they´ll help catch the male pollen for fertilization... and i´m pretty sure scientists and shit are still a little clueless as to why they´re really there. or maybe it´s how THC works.... whatever.


i´ve tried vaporizing kief only once or twice. each time, i put down a little bed of weed, then the kief on top of that. i´ll only do it again if i have lots of people to share it with. i seriously do not want to get that high. it always seems like a good idea at first until you cross over that line.......
