when i was a kid we lived in a haunted house i seen some socks get tossed into the hall.. no one was in that room to toss them out.. i felt someone sit back to back with me once when i was home alone. i also heard someone walking on the roof.. it would just stop in the center. my mom claims she seen an old man and two kids standing in the doorway watching her sleep. nothing too scary.
i believe there are lots of cool friendly invisible awairnessess that don't intend anyone or anything any real harm. i don't think what anyone thinks they know about them has much to do with it though. i think children's invisble friends are closer to it then anything beliefs come up with. i mean, not that i would KNOW either. only just that we don't have to know everything to experience things we don't know. that was a brilliant statement. but i've stated what i mean better a bunch of times. i don't see how anything nonphysical is all that much to worry about mostly. i mean the worst they can do is throw dishes at you. my mother used to do that whenever she got mad at me or my dad. no, she isn't a ghost, she's very much alive, though older then i expect to live to. i'd like to though. it might be fun if i was dead to freek people out, especially like if somebody had something to do with my being that way. besides if i was already dead, i rather suspect wouldn't too much have to worry about anybody exicuting or torturing me. but mostly its people alive who want to freek each other out for whatever reasons, but i do believe there's a lot of strainge things, just that what we don't know we don't know, not something that someone tells you what we don't know is, or trys to. oh and of course some people just kind of like to scare themselves, whatever the heck that's all about. i'll never claim to entirly understand living humans. some of the things people seem to want, or to think are more important then things that make better sense. that they talk each other and themselves into and out of. yup there's strainge stuff out there, and there's probably half a dozzen different kinds of things or more, that have been called ghosts in one sense or another from time to time, again for whatever reason. i've had a couple of three 'twilight zone' type experiences. not exactly ghost stories though. but things that don't match what anybody thinks they know about it. =^^= .../\...
one day this chick decided to show her friends how "right" she is about the whole bloody mary thing. - that it's not real.... so her friends dared her to do it alone... they'd be there on the outside of the room to make sure she does. so one day.. they did it. this one girl who didn't believe in these lame ass made up ghost stories... she decided to do it, without hesitation... so, she goes to her bathroom she brings a match, locks herself inside, her two friends wait outside of the washroom... she shuts off the lights... runs the sink water... runs the bathtub water.. then she says bloody marys name 3x!!! she sparks the match... and.... looks around.. and.. nothing.. she waits a little while longer.. still nothing... she screams from the inside... "ooOooo so scary.... ohh nooo..." being all sarcastic... "can i come out now?" her friends are like.. "wtf?.. nothing?" the girl answers back... "nope.. nothing." so she blows out the match, turns on the light... and everything was still normal.. she opens the door, and with pride she says.. "see... what'd i tell ya." so, they went on with the rest of their day.. when the girl came home though, at night.. getting ready for bed... she goes to the washroom, and does the regular routine.. washes her face, brushes her teeth.. but when she turned on the tap water, she saw it running blood instead of water... and she screams on the top of her lungs, and her mom barges in, and asks her whats wrong... she's still screaming "BLOOD!!" her mom was like "what?? where??" the girl was shaking, and she said "don't tell me you can't see that" "don't see wha---" as her mom was talking, her face began to deform, and turned pale, dark eyes, with a reddish hue," the girl was like "GET AWAY FROM ME!!!" her mom thought she was on drugs or something, and she began to worry.. the girl wouldn't stop screaming.... but, eventually everything went back to normal... except afterwards, its been going on for weeks... the girl saw nothing but blood in her washroom, so she hasn't showered for weeks.. she looked like a complete wreck... and her mom was beginning to get worried.... perhaps maybe she was on drugs.. her mom called for help, and no one knew what was wrong with her.. and she was scared of everybody, and screaming frantically trying to run away.. but they finally got a hold of her, put her in a straight jacket... and now she's in an insane asylum.. randomly screaming "GET AWAY FROM ME YOU BLOODY FUCK!!... crying her eyes out... "LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!!!" tragic story... lol.
I don't believe in your typical idea of a ghost... but i like the idea that.. people once lived in the world.. and so had a physical impact on it... so there is always an echo of their actions that sort of ripples around the world forever after they are gone.. the world wouldn't be the same if the person hadn't once been alive.. so in a way we can sense the impression that a person has left..
themnax, what you ssid about children's invisible friends, I agree with. I spent some time in the backwoods of Idaho with these really loving, spiritual people. One night there was this drum circle bonfire party going on, at the neighbour's land. They had a really sweet adorable little white haired daughter, I think about 3 years old? She had an invisble friend and kept following him everywhere.. But it gave me chills. I really think she was seeing something.
In the house I just moved into the maintenance man had been asked why half the basement was blocked off. He told my roommate that she wouldn't want to hear about the things that had gone on in the house. My kids arrived shortly after she told me of the conversation. I take them up to show them their bedroom and the oldest, four, looks around and says, "There's a lot of ghosts in here" and just walks out of the room. This kids freaky. At my brothers shit was out of control. I don't much believe in ghosts and such, but lights were flickering when we'd talk about certain things, cups scooting across the tables and such.
I'm really starting to agree, but I do make sure I ask him serious questions about it and don't put him down or disrespect his thoughts and observations. Still don't believe in it, but I'm not going to rule it out and close his mind for him.
