i quite often hear voices when i'm trying to fall asleep. it really scares me. they don't tell me anything meaningful, just random words, or thoughts i have..but it's scary becuas i'm not half asleep perse just trying to fall asleep. Am i going crazy?

Are you implying that ? Ima monkey or somethink? Or that your paranoid voice talking to you? try living a bit , Voices tell you that your missing something... go find out what your missing.... stir stir.stir....

    ^add on..
dont make implications on multipal responses that are some how identical.. by lenght...code... and exspecially by pure coinsidence...and you shouldnt make such implications to begin with..

it sounds like stress i had a look at the radio show, it is old,but cool

i wouldn't worry to much often when people hear voices they don't think it's a problem ie they don't question it or them

When you hear the voices...do they sound as if you are hearing someone in the room? Or, are the voice's within your head? Important difference.

This happens to me sometimes, I don't get especially worried about it.

True hallucinations will sound like someone actually talking near you...that is, it will sound as if you were listening with ears. "Voices" inside our head are likely ruminations, thinking to ourself, remembering stuff.

Only if you are in some way discomforted by them or they affect your judgement. Do any other family members have the same experience?

No, not that i'm aware of. Well, they don't affect my judgement, i was just afraid i was going crazy, but after talking to you i feel better. it's probably stress/hypnagogia. i hope.
