Well iwas just watching this show about space and it got me thinking about how what if we do actually start getting so technologically advanced that we can be flying round the galaxies in space cars and shit. Then, it led me to this, that we be cool as fuck, i want to live then, but i will probably die, so this thought popped up, will i ever pop up in another life form, experience life over agagin, not as in reincarnation of a spirit or soul, just will i someday have another individual awareness? and if i do i hope that its during a time like this. So what do you think about living another life, and also how fucking cool would it be to live during a time like this?
I think we will, space visits are already happening. We won't have personal transportation in space in our generation.
you basically are in the future. If you lived 500 years ago and saw today you would be like wtf? Cars would be comparable to space ships
I don't know if mankind can sustain itself long enough to develop that kind of technology. Although anything is possible, and cheap propulsion methods are probably out there to be discovered, I'm just not seeing that happening.
There will come a day when we need to seek out other planets and other planets in other galaxies to inhabit because our planet will be so extremely fucked that it will be uninhabitable. sp? So anything is possible.. People are sooo fucking smart, and if you can dream it, they can do it.
To be honest, I think one life is enough. If we came back again and again it would cheapen the experience. Right now certainly isn't perfect but you take what you can get eh? That being said, a space car thing would be awesome. It does boggle the mind to think in the next 100 years someone will have the distinction of being the first person to smoke in space, the moon, etc (if it hasn't already happened). The future does seem bright, but I am wondering if people will be at a point when all this is possible that the experience won't be enjoyed to it's fullest. What works against the idea of all this technology is what in my opinion could only be described as the continual de evolution of the human race. Although this forum gives me great hope, the people I see in day to day life appear to be getting dumber and dumber. It also terrifies me, as a daily driver of I-94, to think of the same buffoons I encounter on the highway to be flying around in suped up space vehicles crashing into trees with there blinker lights on the whole time.
were going to have to do something, with the population growing at the rate it is, we will be running out of water and food. with global warming and all of that, its just going to complicate matters more. while were at it, why not settle a nother planet, and ruin that one too??
well i mean if you do live another life it would under the same circumstances as this one. you are born and you just know this life you dontremember past lifes or anything like that, its not even a spirit, soul type thing its just someday you will have an individual awareness and do another life. it happened once so why not twice is waht i mean., so i dont think it would devalue life you woudlnt eve nknow of any other lifes you lived or know of any you will. and i agree though, technology is a de evolution thing, like it makes us lazier we dontreally have to adapt genetecially or any kinda shit like that. but you could say were evolving in a mental way and technology is our adaptation that we use to fix and cope with problems trying tosurvive.
we wont all make it to space there will be a big fuck up and half our world will be blown to shit. im so higggghhhh
no one has smoked on the moon, you would have to do that inside your helmet, which for 1 thing you would not be able to get your lighter to the joint and you would have a hotboxed helmet which is bad news.
I think we continue to explore space and maybe eventually send people to other planets. But living in space just doesn't sound that great. Its cold. Its empty. Its lifeless. It will kill you. and can you imagining beings so far away from home that if you viewed the earth from a telescope you would only be seeing light from days ago? Or years? Depressing.
Just think about what this world was like 500 years ago. No nothing really. Im sure the people from then couldent even begin to fathem what we have today. Space travel, moon walks, cars, TV, phones, internet, electricity, sky-scrapers, i mean they had preatty much nothing that we use on a regular basis.
i really wish reincarnation was true. but alas just as heaven and hell, it is all bull shit, but thats more or less off subject .u could do that freeze your body thing when u die in hoping that one day in the future well have the technology to bring you back, and when that technology is ready possibly common and personal space travel well have been accomplished. who knows, i really wouldnt really worry about either of those things and just take several grams of mushrooms and watch 2012: a space oddissey if your in a space mood.
How do you know there is a moon? And how did you come to know the moon was there.. Or is it even there at all? And why... if its to be intence tell me why it would be so intence... im curious?
hmm lets see i know there is a moon because i can see it (great evidence imo), ppl have landed on it, and there is no evidence of it not being there. why would it be intense? are you serious? first off ill assume youve taken shrooms or acid and just think about it, you are standing someplace that was once "in the sky" so to speak, and there you are, "in the sky". and you can see where you once were, the place you lived your life, in the sky of the moon, and surrounding you and as far as the eye can see, is SPACE, just emptiness, not like the earth where you are surrounded by atmosphere. and thats just the conceptual and visual, this isnt mentioning the fact that you can now jump 10-20ish feet in a single bound, and the feeling of being light as a feather. im sorry if you can imagine that being NUTS on shrooms or acid, there is no hope for you
