Ok, so I have this tatoo idea.
I want it to be a large strand of dna spiraling to the exact middle of my back inbetween my shoulder blades. Closer to the center, the DNA strand will be small, and as it goes away from the center, it will get larger and larger. In the very center I there will be an eye. I want the pupil of that eye to be the center point of a peace sign.

I was thinking black and dark blue for primary colors, and maybe dark green, and red.

    Couple of questions.

    1. Is this doable?
    2. What do you think about it?
    3. Can you give me a general price range (within a couple hundred)

    4. Any advice on how to make it better. (I would have liked to incorporate some psychedelic tie-die kind of colors, maybe a marijuana leaf, something that goes with the theme of human consciouness, but don't know how it would fit in)

    Thanks all :)

    thanks for the advice.

I was thinking the tool eye when I posted the OP

Yeah, I just wanted the peace sign because I wanted to incorporate something more into the tattoo.

I think the DNA goes together with the (third) eye. Your probobly right about the other things not going in with the theme. Getting ink like that in other places in a different place sounds good. I guess I was thinking that when you come to full understanding and the height of human consciousness you embrace a peaceful and tranquil mindset.

I am definitive on the DNA spiral and the eye though.

    double helix to pop- ALOT
rung and bar" have a three D shaded effect- If I can afford it
adenine, thymine, guanine, and cytosine be represented? - in different colors?, -yes, maybe in different shades

Thanks for helping me think of ideas, and plan this out
