I have 32, and 2 tangles that used to be my bangs :)

I've had problems with just letting my dreads go off and do whatever they please, form with their neighbors, split off, create new dreads, whatever. I think I'll give them some freedom :)

I was bored.. I counted 65 .. some of them are 2 that have joined into one at the roots, but I counted them as one. It's all a total mess atm... we have a new puppy and she thinks they are made for tug a war in the morning when she is ready for breakfast and I am trying to sleep.

30 when I started, 31 now since 1 wasn't growing together at the root and looked like a "Y" and I tore it into 2.

I've got 27. I'm very pleased that I have a prime number of dreads.

I just counted 66 but there are a few that are still 2 or 3 dreads i am trying to grow together.

I wouldn't say that they are thin either I do have a few thin ones of random bunches hairs I keep finding and just dread em into one dread. I'll put these together soon but I have run out of wood to carve more beads

I have 83 dreadies--counted while my sister and mom backcombed them for me over the course of a week. It took a total of 34 hours of backcombing. Is that normal? (They backcombed them pretty tightly.)

39 right after I backcomed; after some of them fell out a week later, they reformed and I now have 51 at 6 weeks. I really like how new ones were made after I left them alone.
