i know i am new,but i would love to see this forum pop

maybe it is not my place, so i won't be offended if someone says no, never or go away. there is talent on this forum. so here are a few thoughts
1 each month have a topic, say old, then everyone shows thier shot
at the cut off date members vote and the winner gets a thumbnail in the forum
which can be enlarged when clicked on

2 have best pic of the week

3 have sub headings for animals, plants and people

at the end of each year, use the pics of the month to make a
calendar which can be purchased

just thougths, so if i am coming across too strong, i will just go back to my box
i really don't want to put anyones nose out of joint

That sounds like a great idea! Unfortunately this forum isn't quite as busy as most, but maybe you could start a thread and get something going by posting a pic of your own.

 

nah ava actually it is a good ideal...the calendar ideal .....so no need to delete your thread...hopefully a response will happen ..so no worry..you didn't step on any toes

Ava, don't apologize. That's a wonderful idea! I'm not a photographer, but I'm sure those that are would love the opportunity to compete with their pics. Who doesn't like a little competition every now and then?
