I have a confession. Does anyone know Moxy Fruvous? They opened for the Guess Who and that was the first concert that I paid money for. Oh man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtPkDhM1Brs ^^Fitzy, it's pie!!!!!
i am cow hear me moo i am twice as big as you... i havent listend to the worms in ages, i should hunt down their cds tomorrow
I don't really know much about Buck65, so I'm indifferent. Alexisonfire, I can't handle. Arcade Fire is fronted by Win Butler (his brother is in the band too) and they're from Texas... But the rest of the band is from Montreal, where they're based. Neon Bible makes me swoooooooon.
I was voting them in for good........... I forgot to mention my choice for bad The Tragically Hip. They started off so good. Then went pretentious faster than you can say U2.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2_SrvAwZzY There is this guy called Craig Cardiff, he plays a lot of covers. I heard him play this one song called grandma, I can't find it on youtube but its the sweetest song I've ever heard.
the arcade fire.. great band. I can't seem to get into broken social scene though. I like some of their stuff, but I think it's might be too varied, so it's a little all over the place. one of my canadian buddies recommended a lot of canadian music, too bad I don't remember much of it, and I don't think a lot of it's been mentioned in this thread.
well there's this one for sure and this is where my sister fainted at the concert kick ass song the best live performer ever this is great wilcox
listen, I will sit here and read how you have better everything else all day, but music is something Canadians lag way behind America, the UK, Sweden, Japan, Norway, Spain, the Netherlands ....hell even Germany and Australia...Mexico, South America, I'll even throw in Korea though I haven't a clue what they listen to Without Montreal I fear to think of what it might be like up there musically
don't touch David Wilcox go nuts on Alainis sabatoge Avril Thumb your nose at Rush The Guess Who even, not fucking Dave. Don't mess with dave.
I honestly think one of the greatest songs to come out of canada is the kings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2Wr8J8faGA well their only song.
