Ok my friends and I are going to roll on Halloween (it will be my first time). I know music can increase the effects of most drugs from personal experiences. But I was just wondering to those who have experienced x, what should I listen to musically? I mean everyone tells me techno- but two things I'm not really a fan (they tell me this will change under the influence) and I don't really know any techno anyways. Mainstream pretty much ruined it with the poppy techno remix shit! Anyways much appreciated for your advice.
Download some live grateful dead. Preferably one of their mid to late seventies shows. Definately listen to "Dark Star" when you roll. You get a number of free grateful dead shows as well as other jam bands at www.nugs.net. And download g-force at www.download.com. Trust me. Best screensaver ever made. You can even control it with your mouse and key board. very fun to play with. But dont just listen to music. Rent a couple of movies(fear and lothing is las vegas is good). Or get a live concert video (woodstock. definately woodstock) Find someone that has a hot tub. or go swimming if you can (in shallow water ofcourse). thats alot of fun especially at night. theres many fun activities you can do when your rolling but I wouldn't go trick'o'treating or rolling yards that night if I were you. have fun
There is actually a few parties we wanted to go to. We were also going to make hash brownies to sell (more to pay back ourselves) or give (depending on who it was). Do you suggest to go to a party? I mean most of the people that will be there are our friends who we can sincerely trust to watch us.
actually for me its not that much fun to interact with people that are not rolling or tripping if I am. Its very disturbing to see the wierd looks you get while youre on a psychadelic. so just get a small group of friends and be hermits for one night. theres plenty that will interest you in the house you will be staying at. Concerts are different however. Especially jam band concerts. Its dark and no one really cares how youre acting. theyre all acting the same way. Infact I think String Cheese Incident is playing in Birmingham some time around Halloween. You might wanna check it out. www.friendsofcheese.com.
