that's a good one and it's one I apply to my predictions of the political race. I just can't precisely foretell how stupid certain voters are going to be..mostly GOP, (but not ALL of them...)

yeah that's a misunderstood philosophy that probably gets derided at times...but getting what you want is only marginally better than not getting what you want, so the state to be in for continued happiness is to be chasing what you want. once you get what you want, find somthing else you want and chase it. Anything else is stagnation.
