I've seen many of these up here, si I'd figured I would share mine. Remember, i'm not looking for sympathy, just trying to share an experience lol. The other night My friends and I all went out for some stoned bowling on my birthday to celebrate being 18. We went to our favorite spot to toke up and even had a "sober" driver to take us there. The night was great, stopped at McDonalds on the way there and Taco Bell on the way back, but something horrible happened in the morning. I realized I didn't have my bowl with me, my only piece, and an 80 dollar piece at that. I looked all over my moms car, more worried about her finding it. That was a no go, so we drove around to all our spots looking for it, but to no avail. So now, 3 days later, I have no pipe and no more weed. I have to decide if I wanna get another one now lol.

It's hard to lose a piece like that under any circumstances, when it's at your own hand it makes it even worse.
For me, I have a collection of over 30 glass "tools" that I rotate in and out of use through the year. I also have a collection of "worker" pieces I like to take with me when I am mobile. This is always done with the knowledge that they might have to be ejected at some point due to the law.
With that in mind perhaps it would make sense for you to get 2 pieces for the future, one to show and one to go eh?
Still, my sympathies for your loss friend.

i mean even if his friends did steal it, thatd be pretty dumb considering they can only use it for when they smoke by themselves or with people that the kid doesnt know.

That thought crossed my mind. I had this one sketchy kid with us who passed out while we went in to bowl, so i thought he may have took it.. but I already talked to him. I'm pretty sure it got kicked out of the car by accident when we were all getting out at the bowling alley.

well.. buy a new pipe and get on with your life.... these are the risks you take when you buy expensive pieces.. you either lose them... break them.. or someone steals them.. shit happens.. get on with it

This was the plan from the beginning. We are going up this weekend to buy another pipe, but I was also thinking about getting a bubbler, so this may turn into a positive experience.. ill end up with a preferable piece.

When I read the title I thought you were going to tell us a story about how someone died or something. So I felt a little less sympathy only because I was expecting a bigger tragedy. Either way, that blows. Just rememeber the good times.

when you do get a new pipe you should post some pics of it. i wish i had my bubbler thats in my sig. i kept it at a friends house up in a cupboard and somehow his cat got up in there and batted it out with his paw. it happened when my friend was sleeping and he didnt even hear it break. he just woke up during the night and went to turn on his little heater and steped on a piece of it. a big chunk broke off in his foot and he had to pick it out of his foot with tweezers or something.

my friends suppose to be picking me up a cheap bub so hopfully that will come through.
