trapped in a prison of my own design

Yea so lately I haven't been all to happy with the ego of everyone here at the commune I'm living at. I'm two thousand miles from home, miserable and sick of everyone around me fighting with eachother and being in crappy moods. I mean not to be putting anyone down here, I love all of them... it's just not the right atmosphere for me. However I really don't want to go home, nor easily could I without any cash. I wish there was somewhere else in Texas I could go to and work for my room and food. Really it wouldn't be wise for a single white female to hitchhike across country, I was wondering if there were any rainbows in Texas looking for a farm hand or a live in maid of sorts. I'm good at crafting necklaces and other things. Any help would be greatly appricated..

Hippies never get stuck anywhere for to long we have too strong of a sprit. And I know you have a strong sprit if you went all the way a crossed a country looking for a dream.

I am not anywhere near Texas or have any situations like you are looking for but good luck I’m sure you will find something.

 

While you're waiting for that miracle, I would suggest packing up your backpack, sleeping bag, and tent, and heading on down to South Padre Island. Spring Break is beginning, the trolley on the island and to the mainland is free (if I remember correctly), and all the businesses will be looking for help.
SPI is really an awesome party place, and it attracts plenty of hipsters -- look for them on the north side of town -- you can take the trolley almost out to where they hang out. You will meet plenty of amazing characters. Be sure to bring along a container for water, a broad-brimmed hat with a ribbon or something to keep it on your head, a bathing suit, something to cover up in to keep the sun's rays at bay.

Couch surfing spots would be great too, if possible. I kind of want to sell some of my jewelry and wares at a local market... so if there is someone to help turn me onto that it'd be great! I'm trying to focus on Austin but all opprotunitys are open for me and I'm open for anything really. My only issue is traveling alone.. but I'll do it if I must, which I'm sure I'll have to.

 

maybe you get a smart little dog . smart cuz anybody can register a useful dog as a service animal and little so you can travel together by public bus when you need to . i know beautiful sisters on the road and at times alone . smart sisters of course .

Get a dog. Doesn't need to be a four legged gun, shouldn't be unless you have the time and knowlege to properly train such a weapon. Doesn't even need to be a big scary dog. Dogs are generaly excellent judges of character. If he doesn't want to get in the ride, don't you get in.
