I just got 5 lbs of tomatoes for a $1 and 10 lbs of onions for a $1 can't beat that with a stick makin some salsa and tostadas tonight got some cilantro, some veggie refried beans and some other assorted items to complement.
I'm pretty sure I could never feed a family ten pounds of onions before they began to rot. And I like onions.
Its kind of a funny thing. People that really don't care whether a bag of onions costs a buck or three telling other people that don't care whether a bag of onions costs a buck or three that they got a bag of onions for a buck.

I like cheap produce too. Onions go in almost everything... Helpful hints: Easiest way to peel tomatoes, freeze them first. Then slice the skin and dip them in warm water, the skins come right off.
