violence isnt needed..man, if u cant find a way around violence its because ure to limited to see the way around it... i accept violence will never be completely removed from the family, but i also believe the family would exhist much better without it... the day when violence is neccesary to keep the peace, the peace has left for good

 

i guess im just an idealist and think its a better world without threat of getting the crap kicked out of u

 

Okay Young-Uns,

I have been to the first Gathering in Granby, CO and every other gathering I have attended there has been at least one showing of violence. I can say the same for every city I have been in, Heavily Populated or not. Biker Gangs were the 1st shanti sena.

It seems alot of people have this grand dis-illusion that Rainbowland has no violence and if they come, they will see nothing that can harm the planet.


All of us need to wake up and see the real world thru real eyes and not thru puffs of (any) smoke, drug, herb, substance, etc.

Again, Violence is everywhere. Yes, Even in your own magical illusion of you -think- rainbow should or shouldnt be.

The more sober one is the more truth one can see. It is obvious you are all seeing reality. Now -we- need to face it and not run crying about it. Change is in the air, both good and bad.

Thank you Brothers and Sisters who do the positive fighting and remember to love those doing the negative.

It's more about Love, peace and prosperity than non-violence.

I just realized that the only violence my children have witnessed (mostly violent couples fighting) has been rainbow that had come through our home,
the broken bleeding people they have seen in person (when the badly injured came out of the woods and asked us for help, a ride to the hospital, gas. or a place to recover while their bones mended) etc etc etc.
And ppl wonder why I background check my friends these days....

 

how to be an artist of peace ? i learn alot at gatherings . sometimes spirit calls me out from the center to deal personally with somebody . i do not fail in this - got no fear about it - since i barely know what i'm doing . i only begin to understand what has happened when i see them later at the center .

I hate to be the one to say it, but this sort of thing is a direct result of the Family's unwillingness to address and confront violent members of the gathering.

The best thing to combat this sort of this *used* to be cohesiveness. When you care and nurture for your ENTIRE garden, you don't get weeds. When you abandon the rows nearest the entrance, well, that's where you are going to get all sort of wild and undesirable species. You can ignore it, you call it "natural," but one this is for sure, these "A campers" are not what the Rainbow Family designs to cultivate

 

All in All and joking aside the magic of the Rainbow gatherings work though non-violence.
If we went and did a violent take over the government would love it.. and destroy us in hours forever end of story. It only works through the power of non-violence.

For you guys promoting violence you are just draining the magic.
Ocala doesn’t have enough family to even out the balance it seems like which most rogue regionals don’t.

it ain't the promotion of violence ... i mean the objective acceptance of it is a part of understanding it ... peace through love and understanding . beyond that , then you can just know what to do . this is our magic . one time a fs cop confronts me and says they could just up and kick our collective ass whenever . i say i don't think so , we got plenty of power . and i say it with power so he ain't laughing no more . now i don't think violence is any part of our ............................................ power .

violence is desparation , calculated or impulsive . have we power over that ?

 

I will always believe Rainbow to be about healing, which means that there are going to be people who need more healing than others. I don't think that Rainbow is or should be about excluding people, there are enough other groups of people in the world who exclude others. I don't cultivate all the weeds out of my garden because many of my 'weeds' are beautiful flowers, tho they many only bloom for a short time.

 

There's a big difference in violence, let's say, between a couple of teen-age boys because one of them spends too much time looking at the other's girlfriend, and a dog pack of drunks puting someone in the hospital because of a rumor that the victim is some kind of predator....Or Mamma Bear getting a black eye at the last Shanty Pond gathering. I don't think any of us expect humans to quit acting like humans. But the humans should at least pretend that they know how to behave in a civilized manner, especially the ones who take upon themselves the burden of living on the outskirts of Rainbow County (as oposed to Downtown Rainbow Village) and being the first thing folks see when they come home.

 

the reptillians , unpredictably emotionally explosive the more they drink . oh , their tender little ancient feelings . what happened when the kentucky sisters formed a council and went to talk serious to little hawk ? well , he set'm right down at his feet and told them one rainbow origin story after another real slow . clever like a lizard .

Reminds of more reasons of why I don’t go to gatherings anymore. A lot of these A campers pull all of their violent shit and drop back into the protection of the family. If they were pulling that shit on their own a curious local would stomp the hell out of them after a day or two but they pull their crap and play out the situation so the family will protect them.
And violence just thrives in that environment. A lot of these guys probably do just need to be confronted in a big way and they would settle down or go away but they figured out how to play the rainbow game and play out violence with no repercussions.
Yeah they need to be confronted and not confronted by a sister circle that is weak. Yes I have confronted Little Squawk before would anyone back me up no.
Just ignore it, it will be there next year also.

 

The reason "Dan" there are no fights at the private family reunion is because you don't accept all our brothers & sisters, invitation only. The real Rainbow Warriors accept all of the Creators beings. We are the only species who hunt and kill for sport, for no reason...It might not show up at your party, but it exists. Believe me, the real "FAMILY GATHERING" is on FR27 right now...n-yer-neck buckoo!!!

 

well , no , i do not back you up either for the moment . you do not understand what happens . the sister circle is strong in essence of being a circle , and then those sisters with a common intention of love made more peace for that gathering . confrontation is not the word to describe what happened .

Wow, I could get in lots of trouble by that one getting misunderstood..!
Sisters are way powerful and I think a lot of poor energy is the lack of sister energy.

The thing that pisses me off about the A camp violence is a lot of peoples first and only impression of the rainbow family is pulling up to the parking lot and some trash talking drunk trying to hustle them out of stuff.
One of my good friends in Idaho went to the gathering in Montana and pulled up with his family and some A camper told him he could get in if his wife showed her tits and he gave them beer. He turned around and left and hates anything to do with rainbow. But that kind of stuff happens to much.
How much damage can a couple of people cause every year just running good people off and causeing all around bad energy.
