On Febuary 20th 2008 I was robbed. Two people broke into my house while I was at work. They stole around 2k worth of stuff, including: 2 o's of green, a diamond ring, a brand new in box digital camera, a ps3, ps2, an xbox360, a $300 "buck" knife, and over 100 in my moms collectible coins. It was believed to be a drug motivated break in, because many of the people I serve know exactly were my goods are. Whoever broke in went RIGHT to the goods. Luckly, they didn't find my lock box with all my glass pieces and emergency papers and bud.

There were finger prints all over, but the cop didn't want to take any (what a helpful cop).

Now, my house is being re-keyed (were changing the locks) and getting dead-bolts on ALL the doors. Were also having a 3000 dollar home security system installed.

I feel guilty because, it was MY problem that got my mothers stuff stolen. I don't even care about my stuff.

-Anyone have any security suggestions please shoot them my way-

Forgot to add, the cops also saw my growing set-up down stairs. So i'm now looking at an open-ended search warrant on my house.

well ill be honest, any thief will tell you,if he wants to get in hes gonna get in.. anyone that has worked construction more than likely knows at least 3 or 4 ways around your 3000 dollar security system..

ive known a LOT of criminal types over the years and one thing none of them want to mess with is a BIG ASS DOG!! thieves are generally cowardly types,if they had any balls they would rob banks, but they dont so they break into houses..

there is no better deterent to burglary than this..

yah im w/ kumar. Ditch that stuff at a buddies house untill this all clears over.

also hippie has a good point. Instead of spending 3000 on a security system by a pure bread "killing machine" that will only cost yah 500 at most and you can train it professionally for maybe 500ish dollars and then you'd have the toughest security system in the town for just 1000 bucks. The dog will be a good investment whereas a security system wont do shit if your not home... just will make a loud noise and let the cops know a few minutes to late which could be bad especially if you plan on growing. If your not home and theres been a break in... they may look in the house lol you could be fucked.

The thing is, is that it was most likely a bunch of teenage coke adicts. They didn't even break in, they probably just notice one of my doors was unlocked. They obviously sucked at robbing b/c i have a brand-new pc and a plasma and shit. If they could REALLY rob, they would have taken good stuff. This just goes to show me, the dead-bolts I had installed should just be enough.

I'm not gonna lie, I love the snow, just can't stand the people.

    snow as in coke?
for a second there I was like wtf... how random.

well then just be more careful lol and hang out will cooler kids. I thought it was about connections and such and I got in w/ some people who werent very chill... its probably why I got busted and ended up losing alot of money. Just start hanging out w/ chill people not drug addicts and that may solve the problem.
