man, i never know what to write in these introduction threads. simply listing off facts-- name, age, location-- seems too clinical, to cerebral and boring. no life there. on the other hand, spewing off a few paragraphs about an intense love of umbrellas and fear of muffins, while endearing and interesting, can easily come off as flaky and weird. so what does one say about oneself to introduce themselves without coming off as pretentious, vain, trite or boring? short and sweet: 28, female, virginia. love music and reading. spend my winters looking forwards to summers that pass too quickly. i laugh as hard as i live, and work as hard as i play. anything else you want to know, just ask.
i love umbrellas.. Are you really scared of muffins? or was that just a random thing?? But of course, welcome to the forums!!
ha! thanks! i knit. you know, hook yarn. and, yeah, i really do have an aversion to muffins. its weird. they give me panic attacks. seriously. other pastries are cool, its just the muffins.
