Los hotels de cuatro y cinco esterallas son considerados de lujo. En esta última categoría se encurentran los Paradores, que son alojamientos manejados por el Estado Español. Los Paradores por la general son edificios muy antiguos: castillos, monasteries y palacios comprados por el gobierno español, modernizados con las mejores facilidades para el turista contemporáneo.
