    So. I'm stupid.
I've had bulimic tendencies this last month... (I've been recovered for a while, but slipped up a few times)... and I'm worried that it might have made my birth control inaffective...

    how possible is this?

It happened maybe 2-3 times, that I purged...

If you threw up after you took your pill, then it is possible that you threw up your pill. That is how it may be ineffective.

    Peace and love

I took a pregnancy test, and I'm not pregnant, but I haven't gotten my period yet.

I was off BC for months, then I just went back on it...onto Microgestin...and I started my period on the Sunday that I started the pill, so I don't know if that means anything.

if you throw up an hour after taking the pill you should use a back up method for 7 days to prevent getting preggo.

well, if you've been throwing up, that can distress your body enough to throw off your periods. use back up and take care of your body. you only get one.
