I actually really like where I am now in Upstate NY. I'm no more than a 3.5 hr drive from Boston, NYC, and Montreal. But its quiet where I am so there isnt much city bustle. I live near Albany so I have all the shopping/personal needs ammenities at my disposal. I also have some solid biking and although the skiing isnt ideal it can be pretty good at times. Plus if I lived where the skiing is great then I wouldnt have anything to look forward to on vacations . Also we have 4 distinct seasons here and the colors in fall are magnificent. The temperatures throughout the year are bearable. In the winter we generally have highs in the 20's-30's and in the summer it doesnt get much above 90 too often. There are also some great camping/hiking spots up here with many lakes, which I prefer to the ocean. The only thing I really dont like about where I am is the mosquitos in the summer. I have traveled all over the country and to places such as London, All over Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. I must say nothing appeals to me more than where I am now. Plus the bud is pretty good so I'm not complaining about that.
canada (specifically british columbia) up in the mountains, at least during the summer because i dont ski or anything. for winter i would love to live in negril, jamaica.
Alaska... middle of virtually nowhere with a fishing pole in one hand standing knee deep in a trout/salmon stream
Laguna Beach Area with a nice house on the beach. Can just imagine sitting on the patio with a glass of whiskey and a cigar...
If i had a good job lined-up then Sweden or Switzerland they are some of the bets countries to live in. also ive always wanted to live in Japan for a few years and try out some of their really cool technology.
