I have a garden outside my house, nothing special. Not a source of food, just some flowers. I was wondering if there is a chance some cubensis will sprout. Also, there has been construction in my neighborhood, and I heard job sites are good places for shrooms. Where exactly would they be? Against the building or out in the middle?
Building sites?? Where did you hear that? Don't go picking shrooms as your obviously in-experienced. As I have said before on lots of pervious threads you should research shrooms for about 6 weeks. Then go out with someone that picks them wild, ask them if you can tag along. Then you should be able to distinguish between clones and the wild shrooms. - OR you can ignore this, attempt to pick them yourself, consume them. They turn out to be poisonous clones and you could need a liver transplant or die.. It's your choice.
It was something I read while researching them, lol. I've been researching them for quite a while, and since they're out of season (what I've read) them I'm out of luck for now. I was just wondering if they subensis normaly sprout in mulch/dirt in gardens.
Growing in a garden? Well if it doesn't get below 60 at night or above like 85-90 during the day then the temps are right. You'd still need some sort of substrate for them to get nutrients from. Also, hope that it's really humid.
You can get substract compost bags off most websites for mushrooms. They give you all the equipment, all you need to do is rearch how to grow them. I however have to experience growing outside. If you have any questions growing indoors, I'm your Man.
