The sequel was better than the original in...

Talking about film series of 2 or more movies. If you just name a specific good movie in a series of a few and don't qualify it, we'll assume that the movie is better than the one immediately preceding it. If, in your opinion, it's better than some or all of the rest of the movies in the series, let us know which ones. Just as an example (not that I feel this way), the last Rocky was better than 3,4, and 5 - but not 1&2.

By the way, Empire strikes back and Godfather 2, way too easy to mention...

The Return of the King, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (Man with no name series), Revenge of the Sith, The Bourne Ultimatum, Goldfinger, Terminator 2, and of course, one of Cinema's crowning achievements...Leprechuan in Da Hood.

 

Friday the 13th part 4 was better than the others.

 

this is gonna sound real lame, cuz its kinda a lame series...but its the first thing i thought of...

i thought the second Final Destination movie was better than the first...just me...
