i have hemorrhoids and i usually have bits of blood on the paper after the hemorrhoids are inflamed. hemorrhoids are common and usually not a problem, but you could have an infection on one of the hemorrhoids and which might explain the goo. since hemorrhoids are exposed blood vessels, you should definitely get it checked out. you don't want an infection spreading through your blood to the rest of your body.
