Seeing Cloverfield high was the best thing i've done so far this year. besides maybe a hot girl in january.
Idk what your style is, but it being such a cliche is the big reason ppl love it. We are a weird culture lol.
Harold & Kumar I like very much. They didn't seem like cliche/retarded stoners at all to me... lol so much mad crazy shit happens in that film. Half baked and How High were alright I think... not seen them in a while. Cloverfield was awesome. Saw it at a friends staff screening(works at cinema) a few days before it was out in a pretty much empty theatre. It was totally cool as shit.
I couldnt have said it any better. I remember when I watched Half Baked at my friend's house and how much he was enjoying the movie, the same with everyone else there. I didnt get it. I still dont get it. Though I dont think it's any different than commedies like "Grandma's Boy" and the alikes, they are just as bad. So I'm not blaming stoners for it, I'm blaming society
when im high i would choose either an epic movie (apocolypto, beowulf, etc) or a show like planet earth before i would watch a comedy. epic movies are the shit
I like Half-Baked, but it would be dumb to watch that high. Miyazaki films are AMAZING. I watched Spirited Away last night, and I found so much symbolism in it that I could never have found sober. I want to try with Princess Mononoke.
