Might be able to, but you'll probably have an issue with the lighting.

I think you could at least start the plants off with it, however I am not sure about the entire grow time and if the thing could support it.
HAving never grown MJ myself, I am no expert, just making observations.

I have been considering getting a aerogarden to answer that very question tho...

I've used this and it works great for herbs. :)

You can't transplant anything from it as the roots all get tangled together.

I suggest the larger one for serious grows...

It's good quality plastic and should last awhile if you take care of it.

I suppose it could break if you stepped on its parts. For the price it's worth it. But you might also check other grow cabinets on the market if you're a serious grower, as the yield isn't great. You'd need to grow pygmy plants cause there's only so much room between the base and the light, esp. on the smaller one.

I haven't grown cannabis yet in it so I can't vouch for the results. But for herbs it's great, and the plants just keep on producing. It has a flowering cycle for budding.

I'm no serious grower, but would like to try my hand at growing at least once.

Well for one, that probably will not grow weed because of such the small space. A full grown plant needs tons of soil plus space for the roots.

And also for the fact that its 150$(3 easy payments of 49.95 + 19.95 s&h!!1) you could easily buy a full setup and grow yourself traditionally... Would even have extra money to buy some bud to burn while you setup.

Im assuming you have the deluxe. Is the height adjuster removeable or did you break it off and make some minor adjustments also did you use their sponges and nutrients or did u get your own.

Hmm...so I was looking around on the grasscity forums and bumped into an aerogarden grow. This guy had the deluxe version and just adjusted the light pole to the plants height as it grew.

It really is as easy as putting the nutrients in and forgetting about it. You can also put more lights around as you please and just set those on a timer with the garden. But the lights the guy used were only the ones that came with the package.

Overall, if you have ~170$ to spend, try gettin one of these. I prefer the regular method of manually growin though, cause you get more into your plants
