Cate, have you checked out inforoo or bonnaroo.com? They have a great community, and there are a lot of rideshare opportunities for many places throughout the world. Even if you go alone, you'll never feel like it.

I've had doubts about going again this year....but I might, if I get a volunteer spot.

I am, on the otherhand, for sure going to 10klf and Rothbury, a new music/environmental festival in Michigan. It's suppose to be reminiscent ala Roo 05.

Dunno, as far as i know bonaroo has gone completly commercial and would be no fun with a tight budget. Only person im keen to see there would be BB king.

 

Well, I was all set to go to Bonnaroo until I saw Primus in this line up. Totally changed my mind.

so, instead of led zeppelin as they had announced for MONTHS, you get some tribute band called lez zeppelin??????? okay.....

the lineup sounds pretty decent for bonnaroo, but I think the one in michigan sounds so much better.... it has primus, after all......

wakarusa is in my backyard, but I only went the first year.... its difficult for me to go, with work and such......... but this year sounds tight with cake and the lips....... two bands I want to see, and havent seen. and I would love to see dweezil doin zappa tunes. a friend of mine saw that show in KC (zappa doin zappa), and said it was amazing

 

i think the lineup for bonnaroo sounds pretty fucking badass, and it's just such a free awesome festival. i love tennessee. i'm getting tickets if i can afford them but i still have to get tickets for acl. i live in austin so i have no excuse not to go.
