pics would be appreciated. and i mean how can weed have no stems, i know very little stems but none? how could it hold on to the plant.

hydro is when they grow the weed using hydroponic methods.

I believe hydro is weed grown and cultivated with a fair bit of equipment and chemicals and such. some really good hydro had me tripping once, insane.

I'm not familiar with specifics.. only that because of the chemicals and fertilizer they use, and I think strong lighting, makes for much more potent weed.

Hydros good and all but dont be bullshitted by its supposed super potency and the resulting high price simply cuz its 'teh hydro'. Not to mention its impossible to know if its hydro unless your getting it straight from the grower or someone trustyworthy who deals with the grower.

Yeah Hydro is typically good weed but don't be fooled. Just because it was grown using hydroponic methods doesn't mean shit.

-For those of you thinking of growing small scale, investing in a hydroponic grow kit might be a good idea. they rock!

Jorge Cervantes prefers organically grown pot. Or maybe it was the guy who wrote the Cannabibles, but I'm too lazy to look for those books at the moment. I won't pretend like I know what I'm talking about when it comes to growing weed, but I am under the impression that the weed is grown in water with all kinds of nutrients and such. I've heard of aeroponics, too, but I haven't had a chance to read much about it. I hear most people referring to any dank as hydro, because they mostly really don't know where it came from or who grew it. Oh, and the stems and seeds characteristics just apply to good pot in general. No seeds because the male plants were taken out of the growing environment as soon as they were spotted, so they didnt have a chance to fertilize the females and make them generate seeds. The stems aren't huge and stalky like with crappy regs.

Hydroponics is basicly growing without soil. All the nutrients the plant needs are in the water where the ph and nutrient levels are kept at the optimum level for that plant to grow. There are several different typs of hydro systems.

I have grown weed both in soil and hydro. I found hydro to be more of a pain to grow so I am soil only now. I like the taste of the weed grown in soil over that grown hydro.

Hydro grows plants faster and larger harvest per square foot in a given amount of time. However hydro is more expensive and requires more skill to grow.

There are great weed growers that swear by hydro and well as those that swear by soil. As I stated above I prefer soil.
