since you started smoking, can you say that it's affected your life for the better? obviously not health wise but maybe you grew closer to someone or changed, etc. i really havent been smoking that long but i learned which people were true friends. anyone who stopped being friendly after they found out i smoke obviously arent people i want to be around. i guess i kinda narrowed down my friends but made some more along the way. share you story

sorry man but just because someone stops hanging out with you because you smoke weed, especially when you're 14 years old, doesn't make them a bad person or a bad friend. Most kids like to be good and listen to their parents, and the truth is, although I smoked weed when I was your age, I also did a lot of stupid shit. And when I have kids, I will tell them to stay the fuck away from kids who were anything like me.

Immediate relief and/or immediate gratification are not good ideas to live by, just so you youngsters know.

and why not? Its not self medication and is never used in a context of coping. Its a fun thing to do when bored, simple as that, doesnt mean whenever Im bored I feel compelled to smoke.

I once heard someone ask if smoking weed makes it harder to "do good in school."

    HAHAHA

haha wow i feel like a fucking genius, but i fixed it.

but in response to bradleys thing about friends. im not talking about people who stop talking to me. im talking about people who are unfriendly dicks about it. people who used to come over but now talk shit about you behind your back when they, rather than smoke, drink every weekend. thats what im talking about. but i do understand where your coming from.

Its givin me an incredibly positive outlook on life. I never judge people anymore. I've made way more friends since I started smoking. I've learned to enjoy the company of others much more

ehh i can honestly say that weed has effected me for the better.
I can think of no negative consequences other than i'm maybe not as healthy in the respiratory sector, haha. Weed has never effected my marks or anything, actually when i started smoking regularily my marks went up by like 8 %.

I think ever since I started smoking weed, it really showed who were my true friends in life. I made new friends because of it, and I don't believe I've lost friends; just people that weren't gonna accept me for who I am, so fuck them! I still do good in high school, and I only do it like once every two weeks, so I can say it didn't really have a negative impact on my life.

Smoking has definatly saved my social life. I've met more people through weed than I ever had any other way. I'm cutting back, and starting to make it an occasional thing, but I still have the friends I've met through it.

One negative thing about it is that it changed my lifestyle for the worst. I became a lazy stoner and after about 6 months of that I had enough and decided I wanted to get back in shape, do better in school, and cut back a lot.

However, it has given me a different perspective on everything, and I feel like it's made me a more patient person in a lot of ways. I don't get pissed off as much as before, and it's made me a lot more tolerant of certain people.

All in all I think smoking once a week has been the best. Not only do I spend very little money on pot, but I actually get high when I smoke, and I can continue my week without craving more weed.
