If I found a wallet I'd hand it all in etc.. but if money was blowing in the wind towards me, I'd probably keep it

What if you kicked an old lady, causing her to drop her money onto the ground, which then blew on the breeze towards you... would you keep it then?

If I find the wallet tonight I believe I would keep it. I'd be a nice guy and destroy any credit debit cards though, then spend the cash on a mini bender.

this reminds me. the people that used to live at our address have never updated their change of address with their bank 2 1/2 years on. so, what happened, but about 6 months ago their bank sent them their new credit card in the post. don't worry, i never used it. i cut it up destroying the chip and all that; but i must admit, i did wait a few days to see if the PIN came through as well.

Lol. That is strange how they never changed their address...did their bank statements keep arriving?...maybe they died... and theres millions of pounds sitting in an unclaimed bank account...and you could have had it!

i've known a few old ladies i'd really enjoy kicking. just because they're old doesn't mean they're not vicious old twats that deserve a kicking.

Hey ---watch that shit.I'm just the sweetest old person you'd ever want to meet.(and I could probably smoke your asses under the table --and stay sweet while doin' it!!)-------I found 60 bucks in a post office once.Turned it in and a couple months later I was 60 bucks richer.I guess I don't really want something that isn't mine.Aren't I sweet?

yes, to this day i still get their bank statements. at the end of the year we even got a tax stub for work the woman had done at the local hospital. so i don't know if they are still using this address as if it is theirs or what. not really bothered personally. i just find it bizarre. i mean, why would you not update your address with your bank and employers?

it is a very difficult thing

on the one hand i have not had a wallet full of money [myself] in so long i cannot begin to remember

on the other hand i really and truly do distrust the police

and anyone with a wallet full of money

if i had a coin i would call heads for keeping it

    [best two out of three?]

you know been thinking, about not trusting the police etc... just remembered about when I lost my wallet about 3 years ago and some kind soul found my libarary card in it and left a note with the library for me to ring her to pick it up. We met up and I got my wallet back. That was a very canny idea when I think back... depends what info is in your wallet though I guess *ponders*
